Golfito, Costa Rica. We’ve been hang out in the protected harbour of Golfito for the past couple of days taking a bit of a break from sailing, moving, exploring, adventuring, and entertaining. Good friend and sailor Reese Dawes was on board for the past few weeks, and he flew out yesterday, leaving Bryson and I (Hugh) alone once again. Alone once again to play fix boat: today Bryson spent the morning changing the engine oil and re-attaching the connections to our anchor windlass, while I re-soldered the connections to our ailing solar panels. Cold beer has it’s price. Tomorrow we’ll again stock up on fresh vegetables, fruit, meat (that isn’t fish), and libations to keep us going as we make our way up the southern coast of Costa Rica. The next couple of weeks, no, months, are action packed, so stay tuned…
