Bring on the trade winds ! All day yesterday, we were cruising along at 7 – 8 knots, dodging squalls but having some great sailing, until night fall. Just as dinner was being served, a menacing line of clouds appeared over the horizon. Cold front… we had 30 – 35 knots of wind for about 4 hours and some super confused seas. While this was happening, Hugh had taken on making gourmet fish cakes and baked butternut, classic Hugh stunt to make a complex meal right as the winds gather momentum ! All ends well and we are now cruising along under leaden skies.
