We finally got into the northerly winds yesterday morning, and they built during day to 25 knots. Did 6s and 7s all night with our “Lazer Sails” up. ie we’re carrying about as much sail as a Lazer II sailing dingy. It makes for slightly slower speeds, much much higher crew comfort and reduced tea-spillage. The fog is still socked in, with visibility at 1/4 mile at best. The radar is doing its job, but unfortunately it can’t pick up the logs…
