Ol’ Neptune decided to smile on us over night, giving us a bit of a reprieve by calming the wind and seas to a much more manageable state. It is amazing what a few less knots of wind will do for the ocean and thus Khulula general motion and comfort. Did we get soft after so many weeks without serious sailing or a passage? Or is the Indian Ocean living up to its reputation as a fast but uncomfortable cruising ground? The jury is still out, but we’re taking what we can get at the moment.
