OceanGybe has recently teamed up with Ocean Networks Canada and the Neptune and Venus Projects to help raise the level of awareness about ocean conservation. As part of their campaign, Ocean Networks Canada has been heading out across Vancouver and Vancouver Island with questionaries to see where the current level of understanding about our oceans stands. As a recent stop in Port Alberni, the team handed out hundred of questionaries and got some great replies.After OceanGybe’s presentation at UVic in January, they have added to the list of questions to see how many people understand the issues of plastics in our oceans. The part that got me smiling however, was the final question and the answers from some of their youngest respondants. It seem the message may be making an impact with them. See below…
