The OceanGybe school tour is underway, with the crew having visited 2 schools, and 1 government organization to date. We left Vancouver yesterday, May 30th, on our two week tour of BC and Alberta. Before departing Vancouver we had an opportunity to do a lunch and learn as a part of Environment Canada’s E-Week (Environmental Week) where we spoke to members of Environment Canada and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO). This morning in Kelowna we visited Mr. Wishlow’s Grade 11 biology class at Kelowna Secondary School, and followed it up to a group of 300 students at George Elliot community School. To those we met today, thank you for having us. Next stop: Nelson!
