The crew for the trip to Hawaii is awesome. On board we’ve got South African native Andrew “Moose” Miller. Moose grew up with Ryan and Bryson in South Africa, but has spent much of the past 7 years in the Caribbean. He has a quick wit and stand-up character, although claims his skills in the galley are lacking. We’re going to see if we can teach him a thing or two about cooking while underway.

Also on board is Serena Shipp, a Maui native who recently moved to Victoria to attend university. Serena grew up on boats around the Hawaiin Islands. She’s already proved her skills in salad making, hull scrubbing and general sea-woman-ship. She has also promised us that the mangos will be ripe when we get to Hawaii. Yum!

And as usual, Bryson and Hugh will be rounding out the crew. They both bring expert tea-drinking, napping and booking reading skills to the team.
