One more sleep to go! Khulula keeps plodding along in mostly benign, yet sometimes gusty, and often drizzly conditions. We’re now firmly in the tropics, and the air is warm and humid. Pants and boots on night-shifts are a not too distant memory; yesterday I officially packed my long underwear away, hopefully it won’t reemerge for a long time! The fridge is now empty of perishables, and despite towing two lures for the past 48 hours, we’re still fish-less. We had a hit on one of the lines earlier today, only for the fish to spit the hook out after a few seconds… Our luck will have to turn soon, as there is a 60-mile no-fishing zone around St. Helena.
