Off again but this time to wrestle with the mighty Tehuantepec winds. Actually, cancel that.. to miss wrestling with the winds which well deserving in their terrible reputation, blowing up to 60 knots regularly. Our weather window looks good and are crossing with three other boats. Nice little convoy. Despite only 24 hours in Puerto Madero, we made the most of it. We found our first Mexican taco’s, surfed an incredible beachbreak wedge, sampled the local volleyball game and got a good nights sleep. The port however, could probably not be any more filthy after someone dumped numerous drums of resin into the harbour. So absolutely everything is covered in a thick, slimy, never hardening resin. Unthinkably destructive to all fauna and flora in the marina. Khulula did not like it there. Unfortunately, we are down one crew member again but it was great having Ryan back on the Khulula and we are all looking forward to Hawaii !
