We are very happily anchored off Ile Royal, bobbing about and reveling in an extremely fast passage. It may not have been the most comfortable one but it is another one under the belt and we are extremely happy to be back in the NORTHERN HEMISPHERE again. We managed to do 1000nm in just under 6 days, resulting in an average speed of 7 knots ! Our visiting crew of Shayla Hall and Wendy Innes proved to be tougher than the conditions and by the end where cooking, cleaning, doing solo night watches, changing sails, steering with the best of the salty crew of Khulula. We plan to be here for a couple days before heading for Suriname.
