We’re on the move again. The past 2 weeks on Fernando de Noronha was unreal. We met with a host of the local researchers and environmental folks, learning lots about local projects and pollution. We explored some stunningly beautiful beaches, and surfed a whole bunch. Now welcome back aboard SV Khulula… cough cough, sniff sniff, ugh… Somehow in the intense tropical heat, Hugh managed to catch a cold, while Bryson is suffering from a nasty ear ache. Lame. Fortunately after a squally start to the sail yesterday, the rain has abated letting the wind settle to a perfect 10 knots; Khulula is cruising along without much need for help from her ailing crew. We’re both just trying to minimize movement in the intense tropical heat and catch up on a bit of reading. Date: April 3
