We’ve just spent a great three days anchored off the East Cape of the Baja peninsula at a popular surf spot. The swell wasn’t epic, but we put our fun boards to good use on the right-hander. This morning we’ll pull up anchor and sail down to Cabo San Lucas to prepare for the trip up the Baja. Known as the Baja Bash, the trip north is notorious for the beating you and the boat take trying to sail 700 miles into the prevailing winds. We’re well rested and stoked to see friends in San Diego, so hopefully mother nature goes easy on us. Tomorrow we’re joined by friends Mike and Wendy (Wendy was on Khulula last April / May from Brazil to Barbados), who unwittingly agreed to join us for the trip north! Date:
