Welcome to the slowest passage EVER ! The problem is that it is so comfortable that you are almost willing to forgive the slow speeds. Friday the 13th had it’s way with Khulula today. We were up early all ready to go, hoisted the spinnaker only to catch the foot (of the sail) on the bag clasp and rip a 6 foot gash in it. Got that down asap. So back to flogging along wing-on-wing… The rest of the day was spend cleaning up electrical wiring (Bryson), baking bread and cookies (Hugh), and finding our position by the sun (Mike). Then I(Bryson) lost our only showering bucket overboard just before sunset to everyone’s dismay, but a quick man overboard drill and a swim later, we had the bucket back and we were on our way again. We have a couple gannets fighting over a spot on the solar panels to rest for the evening, but they have a tendency to discharge their wastes on the panels so I am fighting them at the same time !
