Welcome to the Caribbean Sea ! We are currently sitting at anchor in Port Elizabeth, Bequila in the Grenadines. This incredibly beautiful bay is a huge stop-over point for all Caribbean sailors and is filled with cruising boats. This morning a fellow in a small dingy came by offering bread and milk for people to buy. Next, the fuel/water/ice/laundry boat came through the anchorage offering it’s services ! Port Elizabeth is a small village where sailors are welcome like we have never seen before. The whole town is geared towards boats and sailors enjoying themselves. Outdoor pubs, dive shops, chandeleries, groceries stores line the beach and are extremely helpful to sailors. The water is fantastically clean, the beaches incredibly white, and wind warm and fresh. Ahhh…. the Caribbean.
